Story
Governor: Caesar has a very delicate task for you. In the thick forests near the beautiful city of Lugdunum in Gallia, he wants you to build a luxury palace, as a gift for his favourite son Brutus. As it is supposed to be a surprise present, the utmost secrecy must be kept. Make haste, the longer you wait, the bigger the chance the secret will be broken. Therefore Caesar will not interfere with your building efforts, you need not worry about requests. The local natives have been quite peaceful, and if you keep the gods happy, natural disasters can be avoided. Brutus is very fond of going on hunting trips, so Caesar asks you to leave as much of the local forest as it is. You may have to cut down a few trees to make a clearing for the houses, and what local support industry you need. Many goods can be imported though, both as resources or as finished products, it is all up to you to decide what you think best. Money is of no concern in matters concerning Caesar's family. You have plenty to start with, and in the unlikely case you would run out of it, you may expect a backup loan of the same size. You would make Ceasar happy though if you wouldn't spend it all, but the main objective here is speed. Don't disappoint Caesar, and you will receive a royal reward..

3. Money
The speed is measured in months, the entry with the earliest date wins. The number of trees will be counted by the judges, be aware that once a tree is removed, it cannot be replaced. Money will be counted as the total you have in cash, plus the backup loan, provided you haven't collected that yet. WC 2 and 3 will only be effective in case of a tie. The difference between the hard and the easy version is starting funds only, just make sure you play at the correct level throughout.
Designer's Notes
Designers' advise: You may use all the tricks in the book, as well as those not in any book, with the exception of free builds or deletes (in order not to give Mac users a disadvantage). The entry does not have to be stable, only make sure the palace does not disappear upon loading the file. In case of such instability, please include a message with your entry
