Macintosh players, for whom the procedure of installing contest files is a little more complicated, can find detailed instructions here. If you have any problems, please ask in the Forum. Contestants need to make sure that they set their game to the correct difficulty before loading the save. Easy is meant to be played on Easy, Hard is meant to be played on Hard. Please take note that the CBC rules no longer allow free roads and material changes either. StoryThe Empire is falling apart, cities are being pillaged, whole legions are being annihilate, raw materials are scarce. People don't care about manufactured goods anymore, if they get raw materials, they can make their own goods and which is a lot cheaper. Yet, this increased demand has driven the prices of raw materials to a height never seen before. We need a safe place to produce clay so that we can meet up with the demands, far away from the raging barbarians from the north and fortunately in Africa such a place exists. Far away from the northern barbarians lies a relatively peaceful oasis, perfectly suitable for a clay industry. Those Numidians might bother you now and then, but those shouldn't pose a real threat. The real problem is migration: in these times of war, nothing is sure. People always have disliked change and nowadays even more. You need a prosperous, fairly large city to make sure this place can supply the Empire in the future as well. 3000 people and a decent prosperity rating is all I ask. And try to make some money as well, just in case something happens, so that you have something then. Good luck! RulesAll entries must meet the following completion criteria at the time of submission:
